Hair and scalp impurities are generally styling products residue and build up. Additionally to this however, hair absorbs minerals like copper, iron, magnesium and chlorine from water and Air. This can result in hair looking dull or even change colour of lighter shades. This SIM treatment will remove all minerals from your hair.
3 Part Treatment. Mineral Removing Treatment-Mineral Removing Elixir-Mineral removing Balm.
This treatment is designed for guests that are struggling with dry hair and scalp. The Balancing shampoo will gently cleanse hair and exfoliant the scalp. Reducing any irritation and itchiness. We then apply Oil cure scalp peel treatment that nourishes the scalp and again soothes itchiness and irritation. We then apply our Hydro care conditioner that will maintain hair natural moisture balance. Great for preventing colour fade and adding shine and manageability. Then finally we apply Moisture scalp lotion which we leave on your scalp , this soothes and moisturizes the scalp and apply Chitosan Hair repair to your hair which helps to rebuild and repair your hair.
Designed for people suffering with oily scalp and sensitive scalp, We start by using Shale oil shampoo which will cleanse and help balance the sebaceous gland. Keeps scalp moisture balanced. We then then apply scalp tonic as a leave in, which helps combat oily build up and improves microcirculation of the scalp. Then we finish with Chitosan Hair Repair to rebuild and repair hair damages and split ends.
Sensido Simplex bonder revives even the most damaged hair into beautiful, shiny and strong hair. The product will repair existing damage to both the hair internally and externally. The treatment will also help with colour endurance. It’s a two part treatment that is carried out at the styling section. We then finish with a hair condition to seal and moisture the hair.
Because we want all our regular guest to look their best all year round, we offer a in-between cut and blowdry free fringe trim service. This is a no appointment service, just walk in and wait for the next available stylist.But we have had some confusion concerning this service, so here we go; this is available only to regular guest of mavericks that have their hair cut and blow-dried every 6 to 9 weeks. The service is only available free between this time. The free fringe trim, is a trim, anymore than 10mm off is not a trim and will need a full paying fringe service. This is not an appointment service; appointments will be charged.

We have had a lot of no shows over the winter period, so to safe guard our teams salaries and our business, we have adopted a new cancellation policy. If an appointment is not cancelled with 48 hours’ notice of the appointment time. We will then charge £10 for each treatment missed. This policy covers both hair and beauty treatments and is £10 per treatment so if you are booked in for a colour, cut and blow-dry that is two treatments so £20. Please be aware that this policy gives us 48 hours’ notice to rebook the appointment time, we have found that without 48 hours the appointment tends to not be taken. Please help us.
As you are all fully aware, our costs have been going up and up, we have made allowance for this, whilst maintaining our high standards of hair, beauty and customer service. But over the last few month, we have been hit by an increasing number of guests not arriving for their appointments, this gives us a loss in turnover,, as we still need to pay stylist wages when guest do not arrive. So as of February, we need to take control of this, and like most businesses that operate a appointment system for example restaurants, we will be introducing a deposit system on all appointments of £10 per appointment. Appointments can still be changed as long as we have 48 hours notice. If you change your appointment without 48 hours notice, or forget your appointment then you will loose your deposit.

We prefer to work on freshly washed hair so that we can we get the best results, and a neater more precise haircut. It’s not possible to achieve this when the hair has already dried into a shape, and we can’t offer you a seven-day guarantee, but we can cut hair dry if you wish.
The first initial hair cut is on clean shampooed hair to remove any length and to create shape, the second part of the hair cut is done on dry hair, and this is when we personalise the cut. We do this by using advanced cutting techniques to remove weight and softening the ends with serration. This is an important part of the cut where we make sure the cut fits your face shape, hair type and take into account any growth patterns that can course issues.

The blow-dry bar gives our team valuable experience and allows us to offer our guests a lower cost blowdry at £14.95. This service has been extremely popular and unfortunately, we have struggled to fulfil this service for our regular loyal guests. So, in the future this service will only be available to guests that have a 6 to 8 weeks cut and blow dry service with us. Blowdry’s will be still available to all with our senior team stylists at their normal price.

We have had a lot of requests for travel size bottles in the SIM perfume free range, SIM do not create travel sizes due to cost and use of plastics etc. So we have now sourced some 100ml travel size bottles. These are empty and therefore can filled with any of your favourite haircare and styling products. They are only a £1. Please ask your stylist.
For cleaning the salon, we have come across a company that is abesed in the UK that produces environmental and perfume free cleaning products. We are starting to use these as they go hand in hand with our SIM products. So thought you guys would like to purchase them, so to start with we have ordered a small amount in to see if you are interested. A multi purpose cleaner and washing liquid- they are available at reception.
Over the last few months we have become more and more aware of the need to treat curly hair in a new way. So we have taken all the information we can and mixed it with our Mavericks knowledge, and we have devised our own Mavericks CUrls. This system is for people with naturally curly hair that want the best of their curly hair, and want to wear their curly hair 24/7. This system has been trained to three of our team members Zoe, Sophie and Harriet.

Wearing a face mask or having an Air Purifier located somewhere in the salon on the floor or mounted on a wall is not going to protect you if we or you have an infection. To ensure your and our total protection from the Common Cold to Covid the Airborne Pathogens/Bacteria exhaled by all of us we need to neutralised at source. Summer is better due to us all keeping windows open etc but it’s the winter when we close our door and windows and create a space that traps in the air, and our breathes can not escape.
