I’m a Mavericks regular and would not hesitate to recommend them - in fact, I have done so, many times. Always pleasant and friendly, professional, great customer service and, most importantly, always do a great job with my hair! My personal favourite stylist is Sarah, who has a wealth of experience, but all of the stylists are very competent and well trained (unlike some of the junior stylists I have had at some of the big hairdressing chains). They are also a responsible business, aware of environmental issues and offer vegan snacks and products. Plus free onsite parking

Mavericks is a great hair salon with a professional and positive staff team. In particular my own stylist has built up a friendly and thoughtful relationship with myself and doesn't forget likes and dislikes for my hairstyle. I have been impressed with their attention to safety for both customers and staff through covid and wouldn't hesitate to recommend their services.
Drive to Mavericks on the off chance they could squeeze me in for a cut before my holiday. No trouble at all, waited 5 mins with a delicious cappuccino then straight in for consult, hair wash while enjoying the massage chair, then a fabulous cut and style. Loved everything about my visit!
Emma was absolutely fantastic and I was exceptionally pleased with the results ! She cut my hair brilliantly and took into account every thing I asked for. I only wish It was possible to have just a slight trim in between cut and blow drys. As a pensioner I find the price of a wet cut to prohibitive
I had my hair cut by Ellie after not having it done for a while so it was in pretty bad condition when I came in. She was so lovely and helpful when it came to advising how to ensure my hair stays healthy and recommended a couple of products. I love my new hair and will definitely be coming back 🙂
Sophie made my daughter feel welcome and comfortable during her first ever hair cut. She had a natural way with Tilly and she cut her hair quickly and beautifully in spite of the toddler wiggling! Tilly came away really happy and told everyone she saw ‘hair’
